David Stark has been the Executive Director of Stiles Hall since 1997 and been a part of the program for over 20 years. He is the founder and co-instructor of the Facing You, Facing Me seminar. Previously he worked for eight years with the largest metropolitan voluntary desegregation program in the country.

Maria Del Socorro Velazquez is the Director of the Experience Berkeley High School program. She has a B.A. in Ethnic Studies with a Minor in Education and Portuguese from U.C. Berkeley. She has mentored youth since her first year in college.

Maria Martinez is the Director of Community Service, has a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from U.C. Berkeley and was a Peer Advisor for U.C. Berkeley’s Student Life Advising for five years.

Justin Martin is the Director of Berkeley Scholars to Cal II. He has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, an M.Ed. from Harvard and is working on his Ph.D. in Education at U.C. Berkeley. His focus is on the social and moral development of adolescents.

Keyanna Hatcher is the Director of Berkeley Scholars to Cal III, has a B.A. in African American Studies from U.C. Berkeley and worked for Summer Bridge, African American Student Development Office, Residential Student Services and Bridges Multi-Cultural Center.

Erick Lee is the Director of Berkeley Scholars IV. He received his BA in Dance & Performance Studies as well as Art Practice. He is also a professional Performing Artist/Dance Instructor.

Deric Washington is the Director of Experience Berkeley Transfer Program and has a B.A. in Media Studies from U.C. Berkeley.He has worked for Stiles Hall and the African American Student Development Office over the past 3 years.

Jennifer Church is the Office Manager for the last nineteen years. With a B.A. in Art History from Mills, she is a member of the Contra Costa Quilt Guild and shows her work annually.

Marilyn Kihara is the Controller for the past nineteen years and has Marilynworked with Stiles Hall for thirty-three years, serving in 1975 as the Director of Educational Guidance Center.
