Core Stiles Hall Staff
David Stark has been the
Director of Stiles Hall since 1997 and worked here for over twenty
years. He is the founder and co-instructor of the Facing You, Facing Me Seminar, and worked for eight years with the largest metropolitan voluntary desegregation program in the country.
Carol Pacheco is the
Director of Community Service. She has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and
worked for four years with Cal Corps Public Service Center’s
literacy development program. She is a former Board Member of the
University Students’ Cooperative Association.
George Austin is the
Director of Experience Berkeley. He has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and
has worked with the Greenlining Institute, the NAACP, the Office of the
Assistant Vice Provost and the Cross-Cultural Center. He is a Vice
Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity.
Jon Brack is the Director
of Berkeley Scholar to Cal 1 for the past five years. He is completing
a PhD in Education in Social and Cultural Studies at U.C. Berkeley, and
worked as a T.A. for Upward Bound, M.E.S.A., Summerbridge, CRESPAR, and
Sacred Heart High School .
Leandrew Robinson is the
Director Berkeley Scholars to Cal II for three years. He has a B.A.
from U.C. Berkeley, is the former Director of Educational Programs and
Community Service chair for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and is
currently the president of Ragamuffin Clothing.
Jennifer Church is the
Office Manager for the last sixteen years. With a B.A. in Art History
from Mills, she is a member of the Contra Costa Quilt Guild and shows
her work, annually.
Marilyn Kihara is the
Controller for the past nineteen years and has worked with Stiles Hall
for thirty-three years, serving in 1975 as the Director of Educational
Guidance Center.
