Experience Berkeley: High School Students
What is Experience Berkeley?
Experience Berkeley is a program that aims to increase the diversity of Black, Latino, and Native American students at UC Berkeley. We provide students with UC application resources, information on scholarships and financial aid. Throughout the program students will:
- Meet admission officers
- Connect with UCB staff, professors, and students
- Become familiar with UCB campus
Students are mentored by UC Berkeley undergraduates who provide one-on-one support through the UC application process and engage students about the college world to help ease their transition process.
How much does the program cost?
The program is free, however students pay for transportation cost to all conferences.
What are the program dates:
- Northern California Day-Long Conferences:
July 21st, Sept. 15th and Oct.13th
Location: UC Berkeley - Southern California Day-Long Conferences:
Date: July 28th, Sept. 22nd and Oct. 20th
Location: Greater Los Angeles (TBA)
Where will the conferences occur?
Students from Northern California and the Bakersfield region will arrange their own transportation (we will help you with logistics) to UC Berkeley.
Students from Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and San Diego will arrange their own transportation (we will help with logistics) to a location near LAX (T.B.A.).
What is the difference between Stiles Hall EB and UC Berkeley Admission?
Stiles Hall is a legally and financially independent of the University of California. Stiles Hall makes no decisions about admissions to UC Berkeley.
